ScarpaVault^TM is Scarpa Technology, Inc.'s offsite, online, backup and recovery service. It takes designated files or directories on one or more local machines and automatically compresses them and moves them via FTP to a remote, secure server for safe storage and redundant back-up at regular, preset intervals.

There are some things to keep in mind when reviewing the plans listed above.

1. The space mentioned is in GB and represents the compressed amount of files that can be stored. Documents can be compressed down to 10% of the original size, while pictures and music may not be compressed at all.
2. There may be some limitations depending upon the type of backup that you select during the interview process. If you would like to keep three (3) complete versions of your files at all times, you will be limited to 33% of the storage space listed in the plan.
3. We no longer support the ability to sign-up and start the service unassisted. We have found that developing a proper backup strategy requires an understanding of your individual needs. We will arrange an onsite or on-phone visit with you to help configure your system to ensure that the files that you need secure will be properly backed-up.
4. Prices listed assume that you are backing up a computer that uses Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000 (Desktop or Server), Windows ME, Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003. Service currently not available to users of other computer systems.
